SOS helpline
The SOS Helpline is available to anyone in need of assistance, support, or information regarding any form of violence — including domestic, intimate, or otherwise — as well as guidance on available support services, your rights, and institutional responsibilities. You can speak confidentially, personally, and informatively with professionally trained counselors. Calls to the SOS Helpline are free of charge.
Counseling confidentiality will only be broken — and authorities notified — if the person is endangering their own life or someone else’s, or if the victim is a child, elderly, disabled, or otherwise unable to care for themselves.
You can also write to the counselors about sexual abuse/sexual violence by email. Send your email to: sostelefon@drustvo-sos.si. You will receive a reply within three working days.
PSIHOSOCIALNO SVETOVANJE IN PODPORA
Nudimo brezplačno individualno psihosocialno svetovanje, pomoč psihoterapevtke, socialno zagovorništvo, spremstvo na institucije in možnost vključitve v podporno skupino. Vključijo se lahko ženske in otroci, ki doživljajo, ali so v preteklosti doživljali nasilje v družini in/ali spolno zlorabo.

A shelter or safe house provides a secure place for women (with or without children) to retreat from violence. With the support of counselors, individuals can rebuild their lives.
If you are in danger at home, call the SOS Helpline to arrange an initial intake interview for placement in one of our shelters.
