To provide protection and support to individuals, especially women and children, who experience violence, and to educate and raise public awareness about zero tolerance for violence.

Our Professional Principles

The basic principles of the association’s activities are:

  • theory and practice of feminist social work in the field of working with women and children who have experienced violence;
  • solidarity and support of women for women;
  • development of professional voluntary work;
  • violence against women, although it mostly occurs in the family and other interpersonal relationships, is not a personal but a societal problem rooted in unequal power distribution between genders;
  • it is everyone’s duty to prevent violence and work towards increasing the safety of victims;
  • the person who commits violence is always solely responsible for it;
  • violence is learned behavior; violent reactions and behavior are choices. Everyone can learn non-violent communication.
